A Pakistani fighter jet crashed near Attock. The incident happened on Friday afternoon, while the jet was on a routine training session, the Aerial warfare branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces said. Both pilots ejected safely. The air force (PAF) stated that no casualty on land has been reported. Attock, originally Campbellpur, is a city in Punjab Province, 85 kilometers from the capital Islamabad, that was built during British rule. The PAF has launched an investigation into the aircraft crash, to examine the cause of the crash. Air Headquarters has created a high-level board.
