Taliban Seized Second Provincial Capital In 2 Days.

In a bid to expand further control in the strategic constituencies Taliban insurgents captured the second provincial capital after the US forces pull out from the war-ravaged country. As per media reports, the Taliban seized control of Sheberghan, the capital city of Jowzjan Province in northern Afghanistan. The Sheberghan is a second provincial capital that has fallen to the Taliban. Two days ago Taliban had reclaimed Zaranj, the capital city of Nimroz province from the government forces. Today, the Taliban Network has spread tentacles in almost all key areas of Afghanistan.

According to media outlets reports more than 90% of Afghanistan’s population is living in such an area that is subject to draught or terrorist attacks. Taliban combatants have intensified attacks on Afghanistan National Security Forces since America has completed its withdrawal from a war-torn country. Long War Journal (LWJ), documented over 190 Afghanistan districts out of 421 are under Taliban control.
