After a bus overturns on the Hungary highway, at least eight people are killed and 48 more are badly injured.
According to authorities, the vehicle carrying Hungarian passengers on the M7 highway, which connects Budapest to Lake Balaton, skid off-road and spilled. The cause of the accident is still unknown. Approximately eight people were killed, while two more were seriously injured. Up to 46 others were slightly injured.
Police further added, the vehicle, which had a Hungarian license plate and was carrying more than 50 passengers, crashed with a bridge column. The injured were taken to hospitals by two helicopters and fourteen ambulances. Over the past several years, Hungary has experienced several fatal accidents. In Hungary, a passenger lorry plunged into a trench last year killing a man and wounding three including a child.
