September 09 (PNB News). At least 6 Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK ) terrorists have been eliminated in northern Syria, Turkish media reported on Thursday. Turkish security forces said PKK/YPG terrorists were taken out when they were planning to launch a deadly attack on Turkish soldiers in the Euphrates region in Syria.
The Turkish military has been violating Syrian territorial sovereignty since the beginning of the Syrian conflict. Turkey entered in Syrian war directly on August 24, 2016, when it sent a military battalion to Syria, along with squadrons and armored vehicles, under the pretext of Operation Euphrates Shield. In reality, Turkey has been politically and militarily involved in the Syrian crisis since the beginning of the war.
