Kashmir: The Chronic Problem & Bone of Contention Between India & Pakistan

Sept: 17 (PNB News). This issue is known as the mother of all issues in India and Pakistan. The Kashmir debate date back to 1947. India and Pakistan have had 3 conflicts, the initial 1948 second 1965, and the third in 1971, yet the contention of Kashmir stayed inexplicable, due to Indian inflexibility. About 70% of the populace of Kashmir is Muslim, they want to draw their future justly, as indicated by the United Nations Security Council Resolution 47, passed On 17th January 1948, yet India wants to force its will on the Kashmiri public. United Nations Security Council Resolution 47 allows all Kashmiris to decide their fate through the ballot, either they want to join Pakistan or India. To stifle the voice of  Kashmiris India had been disregarding common freedoms since the start of the issue. From 1947 to date more than 12,000 Kashmiri ladies have been assaulted by the Indian merciless military power, and assault is utilized as an instrument to rebuff and embarrass Kashmiri Muslims.

As per the Kashmiri-Canadian Council, about 95,000 Kashmiris had been killed by the Indian armed force since October 1989, and “Since 1990, more than 700 to 1800 individuals have “vanished” after being captured by Indian police or equipped paramilitary powers. The Indo-Pakistani War of 1947–1948, once in a while known as the First Kashmir War, was battled among India and Pakistan over the disputed territory of Kashmir and Jammu from 1947 to 1948. It was the first of three Indo-Pakistan Wars battled between the two newly born countries.
