Iran’s Raessi Brings Glad Tidings For Iranian Nation On His Ist Official Visit To Dushanbe.

Sept: 17 (PNB News). Iran has been awarded permanent membership of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) by China and SCO members on Friday. Iran had acquired observer status in the SCO in June 2005. Previously, the SCO had eight members: China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Pakistan, and Tajikistan, and Mongolia. Now permanent members' number has exceeded after Iran'S membership in SCO. Ebrahim Raeisi, President of Iran is currently in Tajikistan on his first official tour with a high-level delegation to attend the SCO conference. Iran resumed business visits to Afghanistan on Wednesday, where the Taliban took power last month.  Today Iran's Mahan Airlines transported people from Mashhad to Kabul. It was the first such travel between the two countries since the Taliban took control of the country the previous month.
