October, 07 (PNB News). An explosion at a mosque in Khost province killed one person and injured 14 others on Wednesday evening, Tolo news reported. Local media further reported that 3 people with critical injuries were sent to hospital medical assistance.

No other identifying information about the blast victims has been released immediately by the Taliban officials. No insurgents’ groups have claimed the responsibility for the deadly bombing. Commanders of ISIS-K have criticized the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan in the latest statement. The attack was believed to have been carried out by the Islamic State terrorist organization. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant – Khorasan has killed thousands of Afghan civilians in Mosques, religious schools, shrines, schools, and colleges.
