The Countering America’s Adversaries bill was inforced on June 15, 2017. Iran, North Korea, and Russia are the countries most affected by the CAATSA act. According to Eric Ferrari of Ferrari & Associates, P.C., Friday’s statement was the outcome of unspecified legal action.” These delistings do not indicate any change in the United States government’s sanctions stance against Iran,” a spokesperson said in a statement. Mr. Ferrari represents companies and financial institutions in the United States and abroad. “They are unrelated to the JCPOA negotiations. The US will continue to fight Iran’s destabilizing behavior, including by enforcing our sanctions.”
