As per government authorities, about 9 people were killed in Sadiqabad, a city in Punjab’s Rahim Yar Khan region, after a group of assailants riding on three bikes attacked two corner stores on Sunday. Ghulam Nabi, Nazir Ahmed, Pir Baksh, Zaheer, Sharif, Dawood, Malik Munawar, and Farooq were among the fatalities. The police added, “We have begun an inquiry into the event and are conducting a search operation to apprehend the culprits.

“The victims’ relatives have blamed the attack on a bandit group, claiming that Jan Muhammad, the gang’s commander, was the mastermind. Along with the remains, the family organized a demonstration, demanding that the perpetrators’ detention.
The deadly incident was also brought to the attention of the Inspector General of Police (IG) Punjab, who instructed the RPO Bahawalpur to produce a thorough report on it.
