Dozens Martyred As Blast Hit Mosque In Kandahar

October, 15, Kandahar (PNB News). During Friday prayers, a huge explosion hit a Shi'ite mosque in Kandahar, killing at least 47 people and injuring 70, according to authorities. Eyewitnesses reported 3 suicide bombers, 1 blew himself up at the mosque's gate and 2 others detonated waist belts in the mosque. Afghan authorities have declared an emergency in Kandahar hospitals and blood banks to tackle the worst situation. October, 15, Nigeria (PNB News). In the latest series of anti-terrorist crackdowns, 29 insurgents had been killed in the northeast part of the country, the Nigerian military said on Thursday. October, 15 (PNB News). The Taiwan government officials said on Thursday that a fire at a residential building in southern Taiwan's city of Kaohsiung killed 46 people and wounded another 41. Last month, the cargo trucks left Karachi on September 27 and arrived in Istanbul on October 7, traveling a distance of 5,300 kilometers.
