KABUL, Afghanistan (PNB News). After twin bombings devastated Kabul’s main military hospital on Tuesday, at least 25 people were killed and 50 more wounded, Afghan local media said. Today, two strong explosions and gunshots were heard near the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan military hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital, Afghan interior ministry source said. The Taliban’s efforts to restore peace to Afghanistan have been impeded by a series of brutal attacks by Daesh (ISIS).
After an emergency alert went off, the emergency personnel sprung into action to transport corpses and injured people to the hospital. No other identifying information about the victims has been released immediately by the Afghan officials. The Islamic State terrorist organization is suspected of being behind the gruesome attack.
