Turkey, Iran. (PNB News). Foreign ministers from two fraternal nations have agreed to begin talks on a strategy for cooperation between the two states. The Iranian top diplomat, Hossein Amirabdollahian noted that the two countries have agreed to have expert discussions over long-term agreements. Amirabdollahian, speaking at a joint news conference in Tehran on Monday, said they’ve decided to start diplomatic talks on the details of a plan for long-term mutual cooperation. Amirabdollahian also mentioned that he and his Turkish counterpart had conducted detailed discussions about regional issues.

He further added that Tehran and Ankara have many same ideas on regional issues. He also condemned the deadly attack on the prime minister of Iraq. Hossein Amirabdollahian additionally emphasized the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan. Mevlüt avuşolu, Turkish FM, said both sides discussed the plans for the 7th High Cooperation Council between Iran and Turkey. We want to strengthen our international connections with Iran, and today’s meetings will assist us to do so,” Cavusoglu further said.
