Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan carried out the anti-ISIS operation in response to ISIS-K’s current radical activities in Afghanistan. “4 Daesh terrorists had been killed and 8 others were arrested during the crackdown,” Islamic Emirate said. The fighting between security troops and Islamic state terrorists lasted for many hours in Kandahar province.

Meantime, nearby residents claimed two people were killed during the operation in cross-firing.
