Morocco Pays $22 MLN To Israel’s Defence Industry For Kamikaze Drones

Morocco purchased unmanned “suicide” drones from Israel as part of a reconciliation agreement between the two sides, according to foreign reports.

 Morocco. (PNB NEWS) . In a deal with Morocco this year, Israeli Aerospace Industries pocketed $22 million.

Morocco will receive Israeli-made kamikaze drones for $22 million, as per Israeli media.

Last month, Defense News released data, based on sources in Morocco, that Israel plans to sell drones under the agreement.

A few months back, the Africa Intelligence website claimed that Israel and Morocco were contemplating a cooperative venture to manufacture kamikaze drones in Morocco.

Israel, India, and Azerbaijan, according to various reports, have already operated the kamikaze drones.

Because loitering munitions kamikaze drones may be deployed as weapons by crashing into a target. 

Kamikaze Drones In Battlefield 

Kamikaze Drones played a key role for the Azerbaijan army in the 44-day war with Armenia. 

Drone strikes had crippled tanks, artillery, and air defense systems whilst targeting Armenian and Nagorno-Karabakh forces.

Armenia had lost 185 T-72 tanks, 90 armored fighting vehicles, 182 artillery pieces, 73 multiple rocket launchers, 26 surface-to-air missile systems, including a Tor system and five S-300s, 14 radars or jammers, one SU-25 warplane, four drones, and 451 military vehicles.
