Kaduna state, (BNB NEWS). About 38 villagers were killed in a terrorist onslaught in Nigeria’s northern state.
According to Anadolu News Agency, the victims were from the Giva local govt area.
Bandits raided 3 communities in the state of Kaduna, burning properties, houses, cars, and fields.
As per reports, gunmen stormed the Idas villages of Kauran Fawa, Marke, and Riheya, on Saturday and Sunday.
Security agents also confirmed the deaths of 38 men, and 29 deceased were identified.
President Muhammadu Bukhari condemned the brutal aggression and expressed solidarity with the families of the victims.
The president also stated that security is stepping up its efforts to combat terrorists.
In the fight against the terrorists who are burning and killing people, we will leave no stone unturned, govt said.
About 43 people were killed last month after gangsters went on a bloody rampage in the Sokoto state.
The attacks were staged in the village of Ilela, which borders the Republic of Niger.
Due to govt failure in a squashing insurgency, kidnapping for ransom, killing, and plundering have become the order of the day.
