Havaldar Munawar, Sepoy Zaka Ullah, Sepoy Farhan, and Sepoy Sheraz were among the martyred soldiers.
ISPR said in a statement on Friday that an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was carried out in the Tank district.
During the operation, two terrorists were also killed, later identified as Shahzeeb, nicknamed Zakir and Daniel.
The military also seized a significant cache of weapons and ammunition intended for use against Pakistani troops and civilians, according to ISPR.
Several TTP insurgents were also captured during IBO, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR did not provide any other details about the terrorists apprehended.
Six civilians were killed in a bomb attack on Quetta yesterday, as part of a new wave of terrorist attacks on military and civilians.
For more than a decade, KPK and Balochistan have been the target of several terrorist organizations, which emerged during America’s war in Afghanistan.
Due to their proximity to the Afghan border, Waziristan, Peshawar and Quetta have been targeted by several militant groups.
Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU), Jundallah, al-Qaeda, the Haqqani network, the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM), and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi are among the terrorist groups fighting against Pakistan’s armed forces.
