Modi government continued ethnic cleansing of the Muslims in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
According to new data compiled by the Kashmir media service, Indian troops martyred 210 Kashmiris in 2021.
Among the 210, five women and five teenagers were martyred by India’s merciless army last year.
According to a report provided by the investigative department of the Kashmir Media Service, 65 martyrs died as a result of bogus encounters and during detention.
Syed Ali Shah Geelani also died during house arrest in 2021.
After the abolition of Kashmir’s special status in early August 2019, Indian authorities restricted him to his residence in Srinagar.
In other words, Geelani Sahab died while under house arrest.
The Indian government barred him from accessing basic health care and other services.
The Narendra Modi government scrapped Article 370 of the Indian constitution, which grants Jammu and Kashmir special status, in 2019.
It further added that the troops’ killings left 16 women widowed and 44 children orphaned.
13 women were molested, abused, or disgraced by Indian state terrorism last year.
India has been violating human rights since the beginning of the conflict in order to silence the voice of Kashmiris.
Over 12,000 Kashmiri women have been raped by India’s ruthless military force since 1947, and rape is used as a tool to punish and humiliate Kashmiri Muslims.
According to the Kashmiri-Canadian Council, the Indian army has killed over 90,000 Kashmiris since October 1989, and “some 1700 to 1800 people “disappeared” after being arrested by Indian police or armed paramilitary forces since 1990.”
