South Korea, (PNB NEWS). Notwithstanding US one-sided sanctions, the South Korean govt is committed to unblocking Iran’s frozen funds, Iran said.
South Korean Deputy Choi Jong-Kun met with Iranian high profile diplomat Ali Bagheri at the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Embassy in Vienna.
Chong Geun also met and spoke with key negotiators from the US and JCPOA member countries.
Chong Geun spoke about the importance of Korea-Tehran relations at the request of the Korean side.
In reference to the frozen Iranian assets in South Korea, he stated that South Korea was attempting to repay its debts to Iran.
