Ethiopia, (PNB NEWS) A spokesman for the Tigray forces on Saturday said that airstrikes in northern Ethiopia’s Tigray region killed 56 people and injured at least 30 others in a civilian camp, quoting local officials and eyewitnesses.
Col. Gannett Adan, a military spokeswoman, and Legesse Tulu, a government spokesperson, did not immediately respond to calls for comment.

The airstrikes on the camp in Dedebit, Tigray’s northwestern region, launched just one day after Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed offered a message of unity for Orthodox Christmas following 14 months of the war.
Aid workers claimed a strike hit a camp near the Eritrean border in the northern town of Dedebit.
