Sadda province, Yemen (PNB NEWS). On Friday, the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen allegedly killed at least 70 people in the Houthi -held Saada province.
Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on Houthi movement-run prison facilities killed and wounded more than 200 detainees in Saada.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has strongly condemned the Saudi-led coalition’s airstrikes.
According to hospital sources at least 200 injured were admitted to the hospital.
Around 3:30 a.m, Allied bombers attacked the prison. Workers were still removing rubble at midnight in order to reach trapped victims.
The prison in Saada province, which had been used as a detention center for migrant workers was attacked and destroyed on Friday night.
The coalition has been invading Yemen since March 2015, taking the advantage of the turmoil in the country.
The US assembled coalition has so far killed at least 35,100 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.
