Cameroon,(PNB NEWS). A fire at VIP nightclub in Yaoundé, Cameroon’s capital, killed 16 people and injured 8 others on Sunday midnight.
The explosion of a light-show device which is commonly used in nightclubs, caused the tragedy, according to the club manager.

According to the government statement, the fire broke out in the disco club at 3 a.m.
Government authorities have launched an inquiry to find out the genuine cause of the fire.
Eight severely hurt were transported to a nearby hospital for adequate treatment.
No other piece of information about the deceased was released immediately.
