Syria, Aleppo (PNB NEWS). Ten civilians were killed and 32 more hurt in retaliatory shelling between Turkish-backed rebels and QSD militants in the al-Bab city.
Al-Bab is an administrative part of the city of Aleppo in the Syrian Arab Republic.
As per media reports, the Turkish mercenaries and the US-backed Self-Defense Forces have been bombing each other since yesterday.
Further, it added that rockets and artillery shelling landed on residential apartments cost ten lives and material damage.
As the bombardment continues, they expect the death toll from the shooting to climb.
In fact, politically and militarily Turkey has been involved in the Syrian conflict since the outbreak of the uprising started in 2011.
In April 2017, Syria’s ambassador to Russia blamed Turkey for violating the sovereignty and integrity of the independent country.
In a press briefing, he said ”Turkey has grabbed the fertile land of Jindires town in Aleppo province by force”.
Jindires is located on the Afrin River, 68.4 km northwest by road from Aleppo and 20.9 km southwest of Afrin.
He further added, during Operation Euphrates Shield Turkey had invaded the Qirbat and Atma districts in Idlib province and killed a large number of innocent civilians.
On the other hand, Turkish authorities are justifying the invasion of Syria and attacks on Kurds forces as self-defense and an act of veneration.
