Turkey Poised To Expel Hamas Militant Leaders
Ankara, Turkey (PNB NEWS). Ankara is trying to remove Hamas militant chiefs from Turkish soil, Hürriyet newspaper said.
It reported on Thursday that despite the expulsion of Hamas militant leaders, Ankara will allow Hamas to continue political activities.
According to the article, Turkey has been in talks with a number of nations about relocating Hamas military officials.
Ankara informed Hamas that Hamas members in military positions will not be allowed to stay in Turkey, nor it will provide military support to them.
Hürriyet's report was neither acknowledged nor ejected by Israeli media.
However, Israeli president, Isaac Herzog is expected to visit Ankara in the near future. On the other side, Turkish F.M reaffirmed support for Palestinians.
