11 people have killed in Patna, India in a powerful explosion in a house where firecrackers were being produced illegally
India, Patna, (PNB NEWS). As many as 11 people were killed after the explosions of the firecrackers ripped through the house.
The tragedy occurred around 11:30 on Thursday, in a house in Kajwali Chak village, where illicit firecrackers were being manufactured.
Incident Aera comes under the territory of the Tatarpur police station, according to local media.
The series of explosions shook up the surroundings, erasing four houses.
“Eleven people were killed, and five others were injured and are being treated,” officials told the media.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi voiced concern for the “painful” losses of lives and assured the victims’ families of govt full support.
We believe the quantity of explosives was very large because of the severity of the blast,” police said.
