Moscow did not ask for Chinese help in carrying out special military operations in Ukraine: TASS
Russia, (PNB NEWS). Moscow has not asked Beijing for help in conducting a special operation in Ukraine, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a statement on Monday.
According to TASS, upon being asked if he could confirm or refute the Financial Times’ claim that the White House had received alarming news that Russia had asked China for military support for a special operation in Ukraine, Peskov said no.
“There was a lot of coverage in the media about the topic.
Nowadays, you can read about a variety of topics in the newspapers.
They should not be regarded as the ultimate source,” Peskov stated emphatically.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry’s spokesman, Zhao Lijian, said earlier Monday that reports in the US media that Russia was seeking military help from China to conduct special military operations in Ukraine were untrue.
