Five police officers were killed and four others were injured in Dera Ismail Khan
Pakistan, (PNB NEWS). As per Pakistani media, 5 police officers were killed and 4 others were hurt in a rocket-launcher attack on a police van in D. I. Khan on Monday night.
D. I. Khan is the capital of the Dera Ismail Khan District in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
Among those seriously hurt were DSP Fazal Subhan and SHO. Terrorists attacked the protocol with heavy weapons as DSP Fazal Subhan was returning from the Kulachi area.
10 police officers were shot repeatedly, and one of them accepted martyrdom on the point.
4 others cops died as a result of their injuries. The assailants drove away from the scene after staging a deadly onslaught.
The officers who died were Abdul Rahman, Kamran, Jamshid, Niaz Ali, and Munawwar.
A large number of police officers rushed to the crime scene and cordoned off the area. The search for the attackers is currently underway in the area.
