Colombia Flooding Kills At least 10, 17 Others Missing

Colombia, (PNB NEWS). At least 10 people were killed in rainstorms in Colombia's Antioquia province on Thursday, local authorities said. It further said that 17 more people were either missing or injured. The flooding happened late night Wednesday. The state government has begun rescue operations in flood-affected areas in order to protect residents from further damages. Israel, (PNB NEWS). Israeli has arrested more than 9,000 Palestinian minors in the occupied territories over the past 7 years, the Palestine Prisoners Society (PPS) said. PPS said on Monday that 19,000 minors, including children under the age of 10, had been detained since the outbreak of the 2nd Intifada in 2000. The Israeli soldiers have routinely taken Palestinian children's childhoods away from them.  In many cases, children are taken off the streets by government soldiers and shoved into the backs of military vehicles.
