Changsha, (PNB NEWS). After days of rescue efforts, CCTV reported on Friday that 53 people were killed when a building collapsed in the Chinese city of Changsha last week.
Officials announced in a press conference that all the missing people had been rescued by 3 am, according to state broadcaster CCTV.
According to CCTV, rescuers pulled ten survivors from the rubble of collapsed buildings in Hunan province. The incident took place on April 29.
Local authorities are investigating the cause of the disaster and several people have been arrested.
