NATO approves the appointment of US General Cavoli as the commander-in-chief of the Allied forces in Europe
NATO, (PNB NEWS). On Friday, NATO approved the appointment of US Army General Christopher Cavoli as the military coalition’s commander-in-chief in Europe.
General Cavoli is currently the Commander of the United States Army in Europe and Africa.
NATO confirmed the news in a statement released on Friday.
Cavoli will replace another US general, Todd Wolters, this summer.
Cavoli will take office after the completion of national approval formalities in each of the bloc’s member countries.
