Following the emergence of covid-19 in North Korea, six individuals died, and South Korea is offering a vaccination

N.Korae, (PNB NEWS). 6 people have died and 350,000 others have been hospitalized in North Korea due to the fever, which has spread sharply.

On Friday, state media reported the pandemic, a day after the first COVID-19 case was detected.

North Korea is likely lacking in COVID-19 tests and other medical equipment, and it has confirmed that it does not know what is causing the widespread fevers.

However, a widespread COVID-19 outbreak in a country with a weak health system and a populace that is ignorant might be calamitous.

162,200 people have recovered from fever since the end of April, according to North Korea’s official Central News Agency.

According to the report, 18,000 people showed symptoms of fever only on Thursday, and 187,800 people were isolated for treatment.

As per KCNA, one in six people who died were confirmed to be infected with the Omicron variant.

However, it was unclear how many of the total hospitalizations were caused by COVID-19.

North Korea introduced a national quarantine on Thursday after the first confirmed COVID-19 case, Al Arabiya reported.

These reports said that tests performed on an unspecified number of people tested positive for omicron.
