Three Turkish soldiers are killed in Iraq by the Kurdistan Workers Party

Iraq, (PNB NEWS). Kurdish forces killed three Turkish soldiers in northern Iraq, the Turkish defense ministry said on Tuesday.

He further added that 4 more soldiers were injured in the PKK attack, without specifying the location of the incident.

Turkish soldiers clashed with Kurdistan Workers Party fighters in northern Iraq, Turkey’s official news agency Anadolu reported.

The number of PKK terrorists who surrendered to Turkish soldiers last year has risen to 114.

On July 24, 2021, 15 terrorists who martyred two Turkish troops in the Operation Euphrates Shield zone were also eliminated.

PKK is a Kurdish militant and political group, based in the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iran, Iraq’s northern semi-autonomous Kurdistan region, and Syria.

Since 1984, the PKK has been involved in an armed conflict with the Turkish state. The PKK is a designated terrorist organization by the European Union, the United States, Canada, and Australia.
