China Urged US To Rescind Armaments Delivery To Taipei

China opposes the U.S. approval of an arms sale to the Taiwan region, Chinese Ministry of National Defense spokesperson said Taipei, (PNB NEWS). On Thursday, Tan Kefei, a spokesman for China's Defense Ministry, called on Washington to immediately cancel plans to supply arms to Taiwan and end military ties with Taiwan to prevent further damage to Sino-American military relations. Mashhad Stabbing Attack Death Toll Rises to Two

Mashhad, (PNB NEWS). A second cleric died after he was stabbed in Imam Reza shrine in Mashhad city on Tuesday. The death toll from the stabbing has risen to 2 after another cleric died on Thursday in Mashhad hospital.  As per reports, the victim, Daraei, was being treated in an intensive care unit at a local hospital. He was one of three clerics attacked by a 21-year-old attacker at Iran's most highly regarded shrine on Tuesday. PPS said on Monday that 19,000 minors, including children under the age of 10, had been detained since the outbreak of the 2nd Intifada in 2000.
