An alleged militia attack in eastern Congo has left dozens dead Congo, (PNB NEWS). Militants ambushed a mining site outside Monvalu, Ituri province, on Sunday, killing dozens of people and leaving many more missing. Army spokesman Jules Ngongo Tsikudi confirmed the devastating attack on a mining camp near Mongwalu but did not release the death toll. Eight children killed in accident in Egypt's Nile Delta Egypt, (PNB NEWS). A 3- wheeled vehicle overturned and drowned in an irrigation canal in Egypt's Nile Delta on Saturday, killing at least eight children. The accident occurred in the Mediterranean province of Beheira, in the city of Itay El Baroud. The children were mill workers in the city, which is about 140 km north of Cairo, according to a police statement. A tricycle carrying at least 13 persons plunged into a canal and sank on Saturday morning. Zimbabwe, (PNB NEWS). As per authorities, a bus taking worshipers to an Easter service in Zimbabwe drove off the road and fell into a ravine, killing at least 35 people and injuring 71 others. The bus was conveying members from a local church to a gathering in the south of the country. Police confirmed the accident that happened last night, claiming 35 people were killed and 71 were injured. Niger, (PNB NEWS). Unknown assailants killed 7 border guards and 4 National Guard members in separate attacks across Niger. Authorities confirmed the death toll Wednesday. Attacks were carried out on Tuesday, police said. The first incident took at the Petelcol police station on the western border with Burkina Faso. The second was staged in the Djado National Guard depot in Agadez's northern district.
