Mandera: Road Side Explosion Claimed Ten Lives In Kenya

 Kenya, Mandera (PNB NEWS). As many as 10 people were killed on Monday after the vehicle struck with an IED, media reports said. The blast happened early Monday morning near Mandera town, according to police. Mandera is the administrative headquarters in Kenya's old North Eastern Province. The explosive device was allegedly planted by al-Qaeda-backed radicals who had sneaked into the area from Somalia, police said. The explosion of a light-show device which is commonly used in nightclubs, caused the tragedy, according to the club manager.
