U.S lifts Sanctions On 2 Iranian Missile Firms

October, 10, U.S (PNB News). Sanctions against two Iranian firms associated with military missile projects had been removed by the Biden administration on Friday. The sanctions, which target the Mammut Industrial Group (Mammut Industries) and its auxiliary Mammut Diesel, were initially imposed illegitimately in September 2020 by the Trump administration to increase a maximum pressure campaign of sanctions on Tehran over its nuclear activity. They are part of an estimated 1,500 sanctions imposed by the Trump administration on Iran. Since 2018, Sanctions had been reimposed on Iran under the CAATSA act.
