Naypyidaw: Suu Kyi Sentenced To 4 Years In Prison

Naypyidaw exceptional court punished the country's deposed leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, to 4 years in prison after finding her guilty of a violation of Covid limitations Dec, 06 (PNB NEWS). Aung San Suu Kyi was sentenced to 4 years in jail by a court in the Naypyidaw on Monday. The court decision came after she was found guilty of inciting and breaking coronavirus prohibitions. She was charged with treason after the army seized control in February. Tatmadaw has been barring her National League for Democracy party from taking office for a second five-year term. Aung Suu Kyi Faces Ballot Rigging Charges.

Aung Suu Kyi, Myanmar- (PNB News). Tatmadaw Officials said on Monday that Aung San Suu Kyi, the imprisoned leader, will face charges of electoral fraud and abuse of authority. The military junta further added that the court scheduled the first verdict in her ballot-rigging case.
